Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at musa.highland@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The belt levels in Taekwondo, in ascending order, are white, yellow, green, blue, red, pre-black and certified black(Poom & Dan Ranks).

Sparring is a form of training where students practice Taekwondo techniques following the specific rules and guidelines of Olympic Taekwondo sparring rules,  while wearing officially sanctioned safety equipment by USAT.

MUSA Tae Kwon Do offers classes for students as young as 3 years old and has no upper age limit.

Missing class while sick? Planning an extended trip?

MUSA students can make up lessons by attending extra classes during the week. Each belt rank has a minimum of 3 weekly class options, so taking an extra class either in advance or after missing time is the best and easiest way to make up the missed class.

Unable to make-up all the classes ?

MUSA Taekwondo does not extend any current programs or offer freezes based upon missed classes. However, upon program renewal the missed time will be added to the new program. For example, if you miss 3 weeks over the summer and your program expires on September 1st, your program will STILL expire on September 1st.  However, when you renew on September 1st for 3 months rather than your 3 month program ending on December 1st, it will then expire on December 22nd (3 months + the 3 missed weeks).

If you have further questions about your specific circumstance please speak with Head Master Song so we can accommodate your needs!
